Hey guys, we got back from Summer Holidays to find our inbox inundated with referrals from social agencies begging for volunteers to help their families! We’re not sure why this is… government funding cut backs… hard times for families during school break… post-Christmas or all of the above, but what we do know is that we need your help! If you can spare a weekend or a weeknight to help some of these solo mums and young families in need, we’d love to hear from you. Or better yet… put your name down to do regular volunteer work… some of these families could do with a visit every week and we’d love to be the ones who answer the call to help them when they’re down!
